I feel like it has been an eternity since I posted a blog and some products…Never fear I am still here!
Melbourne has just been through our term 3 school holidays and my “mum mode” hat came on which in turn meant that Zoitsa Homely Produce had to take a backseat for a little bit. I love nothing more than school holiday time as I get to spend good quality time with my boy and watching the Grand Final. (How fantastic were Collingwood?!$%!! – what a game!).
I have been in my kitchen cooking up a storm and creating some new and magnificent spice blends/masalas/seasonings. I love playing around in my kitchen and it brings me so much joy. You are all going to love some of the new stuff that’s coming up. Keep your eyes on all our socials and our website for more details.
A lot of people have reached out told us how much they love our products. You know who you are and a huge heartfelt thank you for your kind words and your support. It means so much for this small business. A lot of blood, sweat and tears (and tantrums from me) goes into everything we create and then to hear all your amazing comments it just confirms that I am on the right path, and I should keep doing what I am doing. There is always lot of self-doubt and at times self-sabotage from my end.
I’ve said it before and I will say it again each person’s tongue and taste buds can taste and feel different flavours, what I taste, and smell is both subjective and objective. It is obvious that each person’s taste differs: “De gustibus non disputandum”. The reason I say this is a few people have found some of our products either too spicy or not spicy enough. I always aim to find a balance and a balance that works well for the wider general public. The beauty of our store is that I can easily adapt the “spiciness” to your liking. If you have certain intolerances or allergies to one ingredient, again just let me know at time of ordering and I can adjust everything. We make all our products at time of placing an order, so everything is super-duper fresh!
If I could ask anyone who has purchased our products if they have the time could they leave a review or a comment on our website. The more reviews we get the better it is for our little business.
I digress…. We are in such tough economic times, all of us. The price of living has skyrocketed, and luxuries are something we are all putting on the back burner and understandably so. So having said that I want to let everyone know that Zoitsa Homely Produce does offer AfterPay as a payment option. I have had a few people reach out asking for a payment plan, or layby. If there is something that you really want, please reach out to me at: info@zoitsa.com and I am always open and happy to discuss payment options with you and arrange something for you. All you need to do is ask.
