Well, where does one begin? It’s been a mad few weeks over here at Zoitsa Homely Produce and we literally haven’t stopped.

On a personal level June is my son’s birthday month. Yes month! We don’t do things by halves over here. It seems like he was born just yesterday but I have a 12 year old in the house! He tests my patience which I would assume has to do with turning 12, being in grade 6 and thinking his shit doesn’t stink. He no longer hugs me in public. Won’t hold my hand in public, tells me constantly that I stink of spices LOL! He is my everything. Everything , and I mean everything I do, I do it for him.
Organising birthday parties and celebrations has taken up a lot of my time and has depleted my energy but honestly, I wouldn’t change it for the world. It’s things we do for our kids, right?
I run my business along with being a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend, a sister, and as well as running my sons grade 6 graduation committee. I am elbow deep in fundraisers and planning all the grade 6s’ special dinner and graduation day. I am eager for his final year of primary school to be over with and both he and I are equally excited for new adventures, new friendships (not that his current friends aren’t wonderful), and for him to feel that sense of independency, that teenage “freedom”, for growth and for him to strive for whatever his life has ahead of him.
In the pipeline we have some amazing blends coming your way so keep your eye out on all our socials and website for our Rotisserie Chicken Rub, Georgian Spice, our gorgeous Sweet Garlic and Onion Rub and a trio of Ramen Seasonings just to name a few. I am obsessed with salt, so I have been playing around, and sometimes failing miserably with some salt blends. I plan of fine tuning them some more and then having them up on our website soon.
I am currently taste testing, or trialling, our new blends in my kitchen and being the perfectionist that I am I want to make sure that they are super tasty and delicious and easy to use in your kitchens.
