We love cheesy corn chips, like Doritos, CC’s! It’s one snack that we love. Especially Nacho Cheese flavour. Nacho cheese flavour gets to me! Anything Nacho Cheese for me! I love it. But when you read about the emulsifiers and preservatives and “food products” – I use that term very loosely, and then all these numbers on a packet of chips, it turns me off.
Food doesn’t need all this crap – additives, preservatives, emulsifiers, to make our food tasty. YES, I understand life is meant to be LIVED and I’m not trying to take the joy out of eating “junk food” or highly processed foods. But this whole entire world lives on so much shit all day, every day for every meal or snack! This terrifies me!
So, I made my own and I can’t wait for you to try it. Our Nacho Cheese Dust can literally be sprinkled on ANYTHING! On pita bread, popcorn, tortilla chips, meats, pizza, hot chips/fries, pastas, cream cheese, add to breads before baking, add to dough before kneading, mix some with buttermilk and then dip chicken drumsticks in and then fry or bake, into scrambled eggs, in mac and cheese, roasted vegetables, home-made crackers, The possibilities are endless.
You may have read about my obsession with nutritional yeast, well this is packed with the stuff! A touch of sea salt, a touch of peppercorns, garlic and onion powders and then milled to a fine consistency. We add NO cheese powder (oh dear god how vile)which in turn makes this dairy free. It seriously is to die for! I’m salivating just writing about it.
