Pink Latte Mix

Its pink!

It’s our Pink Latte Mix. Why is it pink? It’s made with beetroot powder. Don’t roll your eyes, don’t do the vom vom churn, don’t pull that gross look. Don’t knock this mix until you try it.

Beetroot powder is 100% pure ground down dried beetroot. It has a beautiful sweet, earthy taste, it’s a great source of potassium and folate and is packed with antioxidants.

Our Pink Latte Mix is made using not only beetroot powder, but also consists of cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and ground cloves and when made into either a hot drink or a cold drink it tastes heavenly.

Our Pink Latte is another caffeine-free alternative, BUT it tastes amazing with a shot of espresso, and it is a drink that not only tastes beautiful, but it will boost your stamina, endurance and energy for the day. It’s a beautiful pick me up drink and its velvety smooth.

To make a hot/warm Pink Latte we recommend that you steam your milk first until it reaches the right temperature for you, but we want it frothy like a cappuccino top. So, aim for 60-68 degrees Celsius. Don’t have a milk frother? Simply heat up the milk in a small saucepan until nearly simmering (slow and steady – no need to blast the flames on to it) and then using a whisk briefly whisk for 1 minute until frothy.

Add 1 tablespoon of Zoitsa Homely Produce’s Pink Latte Mix to a clean and dry cup/mug. Pour the steamed milk on top (minus the foam) and stir to combine. If you want to sweeten it up a bit, I added a teaspoon of Pure maple syrup, and it was luscious. Then add the foam on top and give it a little stir, then sit back, sip away and enjoy.

As a cold or iced Pink Latte simply add 1 tablespoon of Zoitsa Homely Produce’s Pink Latte Mix to a clean and dry mug or measuring jug and add 2 tablespoons of hot water (add the maple syrup if your using) and mix to dissolve. In a tall glass add some ice cubes, then pour in the hot pink latte mixture, add your milk of choice and give it a good stir until combined and crash, bang, wallop there’s your Iced Pink latte.

This was tested using fat cow’s milk, oat milk, almond milk and for a decadent and sinfully delicious version I used tinned coconut milk. PWOAH SO GOOD!

I am going to try and use our Pink Latte Mix to make “Red Velvet” Cupcakes and I will let you know how I go. I think it will work beautifully used in a cake.

We hope you love our Pink Latte Mix.

Bon Appetit
