Description

Our Rustic Spice Mix is packed with caraway seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, the seeds from star anise, black peppercorns.  The caraway seed aroma is rather dominant in this mix.  It’s sweet, spicy, herbaceous, and fruity.  Just bewitching!

I use the mortar and pestle to mill the herbs. By pestling the ingredients, they are “crushed” with a lower energy, and they will not “warm up” and release their full flavours. I do this so that when you sprinkle some of our Rustic Spice Mix on top of your uncooked loaf the flavours and aromas will “release” in the hot oven.

Our Rustic Bread Mix gives your loaves of bread a strong, rich, hearty flavour. It really does amp up the taste of your loaf. It turns the loaf into a loaf full of robust flavours.
